RASE supporting Lincolnshire's Heritage

RASE are pleased to support Lincoln Cathedral following completion of the new visitor centre in Lincoln Castle.  We have commissioned two new trailers in striking Lincoln Cathedral livery to ‘deliver’ the message around the whole of the UK, also featured are the aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight who also have strong heritage links with the county.

Lincoln is the only place in the world where you can find an original copy of the Magna Carta signed by King John in 1215.  The visitor centre opens on April 1st 2015 to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the document’s sealing by King John.

Lincoln’s Magna Carta will be an important part of the anniversary celebrations across the world, please take a look at the following link and make a date to visit Lincoln to view one of only four remaining copies of the document.

RASE head office site is located at Wickenby Airfield which was a former ‘Lancaster’ Bomber base during World War 2, hence the association to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and its inclusion in this trailer design.
